Service run by Motorola/Airwave Solutions; gradual replacement by ESN (Emergency Services Network) over EE 4G/5G with priority access on the 700 MHz band.

Embassies in London historically maintain HF links to their capitals. Traffic is typically found in the utility (non-broadcast) portions between amateur and broadcast bands — CW, RTTY/Baudot, PSK, MFSK and PACTOR are all observed. Modes evolve from STANAG 4285 (NATO-aligned) through to proprietary MIL/diplomatic waveforms.

"Numbers stations" — one-way voice or data transmissions to intelligence officers — have long been associated with diplomatic activity. Examples heard from the UK:
